Wherever I traveled, I always packed a bundle of small papers and pencils to draw my own postcards. I spent 1-2 hours in the place where I wanted to share with my friends and family, drawing objects and landscapes. Then, I mailed them with a small gift or local artist's postcard. In this way, I can remember all these places and people much easier than writing. I felt like I owned that experience in my heart. I took pictures before I sent them, so I could edit and color them n Photoshop later.
