This is the illustration series to celebrate the Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage month, May. It highlights the beauty of Korean traditional cultures such as the traditional clothing 'Hanbok', royal palace 'Gyeongbokgung', 'Deoksugung' and activities like 'the changing ceremony of the royal guards'.

The medium itself represents the theme of the project, which is the harmony of the past and the present. The traditional texture from pencil and paper work together with vivid colors from Adobe Photoshop.

As a collaboration with The Push (Nonprofit organization), we exhibited and sold these art prints at Canal Street Market, New York.
